Thanks for sharing! I now reflected on how I felt when I last applied to a job, and yes, I also did not feel like myself, more like a version of me trimmed to the job applied. Strange! Have you felt differently over the past months applying with a CV that represents you?

It is interesting how we box ourselves in just to fit. Strange, really! Things have improved a bit, though I still feel slightly off from time to time. I am starting to wonder if, after almost four months, it might be time to switch things up again... evolve it a little further somehow.

One idea (a bit cheeky) is to just copy-paste the entire job description into the cover letter and résumé, tuck it away in the background so recruitment software still picks it up. :P

It should be different. A tip that stuck with me was that someone said to me that a job interview isn't just you interviewing for the position but also the company interviewing with you to become your next employer. That really helped me with interviews. But still, if you are in need of a job, you might be in a position not being able to choose.

Oh, that's such a smart idea! Why not try it out?

Yeah, I do follow that as well actually... and luckily in Finland, also the companies often see it like that as well :)
